SCENIC CRUISES
This informative and enjoyable cruise operates daily taking in the sights and natural beauty that surround Lake Taupo. Nobody travels further than the Cruise Cat allowing you to see more of the lake, including the Maori rock carvings. A live running commentary is given so you can learn about the Maori mythology and geological history surrounding Lake Taupo. Every guest receives a complimentary tea or coffee and a hot, homemade muffin to enjoy on board. Cruises depart at 10.30am & 1.30pm daily with an additional cruise at 5.00pm from Dec – Feb. Red Deer Hunts are our specialty with a purpose built lodge nestled into 16,000 hectares of bush on the south eastern coast of the North Island.
